Abstract:【Objective】To observe the effect of orlistat capsule combined with intensive insulin in the treatment of newly diagnosed obese type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM).【Methods】Eighty-six cases of newly diagnosed obese T2DM treated in our hospital from February 2019 to February 2020 were randomly divided into combined group and control group,43 cases in each group. The control group was given intensive insulin therapy, and the combined group was given orlistat combined therapy on the basis of the control group. The general physical examination[body weight, body mass index(BMI),percent body fat(PBF)],glucose metabolism indexes[glycosylated hemoglobin(HbAlc),fasting blood glucose(FPG),postprandial blood glucose(2hPG)]and lipid metabolism indexes[serum triglyceride(TG),total cholesterol(TC),low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C)and highdensity lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C)]were compared between the two groups before treatment and after 3 months of treatment. The occurrence of adverse drug reactions in the treatment process of the two groups was recorded and timely dealt with.【Results】After 3 months of treatment, the body weight,BMI,PBF,HbAlc,FPG,2hPG,TC,TG,LDL-C levels of the two groups were significantly decreased, which was significantly lower in the combined group than in the control group at the same time(P<0.05);the HDL-C levels of the two groups were significantly increased, which was significantly higher in the combined group than in the control group at the same time(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in adverse drug reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).【Conclusion】Orlistat capsule combined with insulin intensive treatment of newly diagnosed obese T2DM has better effect, good safety and high clinical application value.
