Abstract:【Objective】To investigate the value of serum tumor markers CEA,CA199,CA724,CA50,CA242 and VEGF in the prognosis of adenocarcinoma of esophageal junction(AEJ)and provide reasonable test items for the clinical.【Methods】A total of 213 cases of AEJ patients and 30 healthy people were involved in the study. The serum levels of CEA,CA199,CA724,CA50,CA242 and VEGF were detected. The relationship between them and prognosis was statistically analyzed.【Results】The levels of CEA,CA199,CA724,CA50,CA242 and VEGF in AEJ group were significantly higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).The 3-year survival rates of patients with negative CEA,CA199 and CA724 were significantly higher than those of patients with positive CEA,CA199 and CA724.In stageⅠ,Ⅱ,Ⅲpatients, there was no significant statistical difference in the positive rate of CEA,CA199,CA724,CA50,CA242,VEGF.Neuroinvasion,positve CEA and positve CA724 were independent prognostic factors.【Conclusion】The levels of CEA and CA724 could be very helpful in the evaluation of the prognosis of patients with adenocarcinoma of esophageal junction.
