Abstract:【Objective】To understand the current status of competency of clinicians in a large comprehensive tertiary hospital in Changsha City,then provide theoretical basis and policy reference for improving the training and management model of clinicians.【Methods】A self-designed questionnaire survey was conducted,using two-stage stratified random sampling method to investigate the current status of clinical physicians,competency in a large comprehensive tertiary hospital in Changsha City.【Results】The average self-evaluation score of clinicians'job competency in a large comprehensive tertiary first-class hospital in Changsha is 4.47±0.58 points,overall competencies are better.【Conclusion】The overall competencies of clinicians in a large comprehensive tertiary hospital in Changsha City are good,but there are some shortcomings that need to be improved and perfected.We should adopt the job competence as the core,three-in-one collaborative innovation training system and mechanism of"professional spirit training,professional skills training,clinical practice education",and pay attention to cultivating clinicians'job competence,problem-solving ability and innovation ability.
