Objective: To evaluate the clinical effects of complex staghorn renal calculi under surgical procedure and swiss lithoctast pneumatic lithotroptor. Methods: A total of 48 patients with complex staghorn renal calculi treated by surgical procedure and swiss lithoctast pneumatic lithotroptor. Results: The calculi were removed and broken and all the 48 patients relovered uneventfully among them the residual calculi were found in 2 (<0.3 cm). Conclusion: The procedure has the advantages of being simple, high rate of removing the calculi, less complication and effective.
