Objective: To discuss the therapeutic effect of using DHS (dydamic hip screw) in the treatment of the obsolete intertrochanteric frature. Methods: 19 cases with obsolete intertrochanteric frature by using DHS for internal fixation were analyzed retrospectively. Results: All patients were followed up from 3 months to 39 months, and the results were excellent in 8 cases (42.11%), good in 8 cases (47.36%) and fair in 2 cases (10.53%), poor in 0 case.No case failed in internal fixation and no complication such as infection and coax vara deformity happened. Conclusion: DHS is an effective method to treat oboslete Interchanterie Fracture.
