Abstract:Objective: To study the significance of concentration of endothelin (ET) and calcitionin gene - related peptide(CGRP) in peripheral blood and bile in patients with hepatobiliary carcinoma and hepatobiliary duct infection. Methods:The concentration of endothelin and calcitionin gene related- protein were detected by radioimmunoassay in 120 cases of bepatobiliary carcinoma and hepatobiliary duct infection. Results:The concentrations of ET and CGRP in peripheral blood and bile in patients with hepatobiliary carcinoma and hepatobiliary duct infection are( 107.35 ± 14.44) pg/ml, ( 36.37 + 14.79 ) pg/ml, ( 56.85 + 16.54) pg/ml and (96.34 + 20. 025 ) pg/ml,(250.07 + 43.19 ) pg/ml ( 198.71 ± 35.68 ) pg/ml, respectively. Compared with control ( 42.88 ± 11.96 ) pg/ml,(24.04 ± 17.45)pg/ml and (18.56 ± 17.40)pg/ml, (165.36 ±28.07)pg/ml, the difference was significant (P<0.05,0.01 ). Conclusion:The ET and CGRP in peripheral blood and bile have effect on hepatobiliary carcinoma and hepatobiliary duct infection. But the pathogenesis should be further studied.
